We have reveled in mountain top night shoots, hung a hammock in the middle of a snowy forest, smoked at the Great Sand Dunes, dipped our toes into numerous hot springs and met new and interesting folks along the way. Crazy to think that the adventure wasn’t even halfway over.
I have been using Empire Papers for the last 9 months or so, after being introduced to them by a cool homie from San Diego. We smoked them over Chalice Cup weekend and I have been wanting oh so badly to give them a review. I just couldn’t wait anymore. Having used Empire Papers for such a long time, I definitely have some things to say.
In short, there is no other RV quite like our Vanabus. We didn’t even truly start considering #vanlife as a real option for us until we discovered that they existed. It’s been over 3,000 miles, and of course it hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been one awesome ride.
With no cell service (I don’t mean we were roaming, I mean NO cell service) and the back of the vanabus still in the road, we hiked in the almost complete dark.
Van Life Day 11: While we were planning our 90 day road trip, we made a deal. Either of us can pick stops anywhere along the way that we would like; whether that be for sightseeing, activities, and food. Whatever. If one person wants to stop and the other really just doesn’t, they can veto the stop. However, we only have 3 vetoes each. Today I wanted to use one of those vetoes.
