There are so many options this year (especially on 4/20 itself) that I had to narrow it down the ones I liked the most. Can you smoke: Yes! I have attended a few of these events and even if the fire department shuts down their rooftop smoke spot, they always find a place to choke with your buds.

This quarterly party is huge for 4/20 week! Local weedy vendors are in abundance at this event and there’s plenty of drinks flowing too. Music, massage and acupuncture tables, giveaways and so much more make this event one of the best in town. And… its FREE!
What: Devin the Dude at Black Sheep
Time/Place: 7 PM at The Black Sheep 2106 E Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909
Can you smoke: Haven’t been to this venue, but there are quite a few that look the other way when you light up. I went to a Jimmy Cliff concert at Ogden once and could hardly see when I walked in it was so smoky. It was great!

What: A Talk about Psilocybin Mushrooms
Time/Place: 5 to 7 PM at CSU in the Lory student center room 300
Can you smoke: No smoking at this 4/20 event, but there will be plenty of time for that before and after this interesting talk.

Ken Kassenbrock, a long time fungi enthusiast and the mycology professor at CSU, will be giving a talk on magic mushrooms! Denver will be voting on legalization of psilocybin mushrooms in May.

What: Howl at the Moon 420 Gathering

Mason Jar Event Group never fails to surpass my expectations at their events. I have been to a couple of their dinners (HERE is a video I made of their hemp field, cannabis paired dinner). This is one of the best events to attend over 4/20 week.
What: Mile High 2019 Festival
Time/Place: 10 AM to 6 PM
Can you smoke: This annual event celebrates the use of cannabis. Be ready to see all kinds of smoking devices!

TI and Jermaine Dupree will grace the stage at this all day affair. This is one of the biggest events in Denver that celebrates the 4/20 holiday and the normalization of cannabis. The event is open to the public, so invite all of your friends and let’s smoke one!
What: Bloom 420
Time/Place: 11 AM to 6 PM, Location released after ticket purchase (Cap Hill mansion)
Can you smoke: Absolutely! Bring your own though, as there will only be infused food and drink at the event.

Light one up and get out the paintbrushes. A great way to let out the creative inside of you! It’s at the same place as Sunday Morning Cartoons, so you could just hang out here all day!
After the hustle and bustle of 420 week is over, remember our responsibility as cannabis connoisseurs is to keep the movement alive. Tell your friends and family about the benefits of cannabis. Get involved in local politics to get cannabis normalized. Do more than smoke cannabis, get educated on it!
